New Series: A Day in the Life of a Castleton Bride…Megan Haynes
Wedding planning can be so much fun! All the myriad details, experiences, decisions and entertaining moments make for an interesting story. We decided to create a new blog series, entitled A Day in the Life of a Castleton Bride, with this first post introducing you to our featured bride, Megan Haynes!
Megan is an East Tennessee native, from Anderson County, a graduate of Clinton High School. She is engaged to Aaron Lee Jenkins, also a native East Tennessean, from Anderson County and a graduate from Clinton High School! Are you seeing the common thread here? These two special people have known one another since they were in elementary school! To read about their amazing, heartwarming story, they have their own website link to visit . Aaron gets special recognition for his thoughtful, creative approach to their engagement day – he dreamed up a Scavenger Hunt for Megan to follow, taking her down Memory Lane until she finally found him and he proposed on August 29, 2009. Aaron is currently located in Texas, and is only able to come in for visits to see Megan every 6 weeks.
An important thing to note – Megan is currently working on her Masters in Elementary Education and will graduate on May 13th, a mere two days before her wedding day! That’s right, the date they chose just happened to fall in the same week as her college graduation – that’s one serious, driven young lady!
The official wedding date for this lovely couple is May 15, 2010 at 6 pm, in the fairytale setting of Castleton Farms. We hope that you will enjoy following Megan’s wedding planning.
