Follow the Bride, Part 2: Megan Haynes

Megan Haynes and Aaron Lee Jenkins

The countdown has begun for Megan Haynes and Aaron Lee Jenkins. All the plans are coming together and on May 15, they will begin their married lives together.

“I’ve been planning my wedding forever,” Megan said. Ever since she was a little girl, she has dreamt of this special day.

For Megan, she’s always envisioned a country, rustic atmosphere for her wedding and when it came time to find the perfect venue, she looked through countless resources. Then she found Castleton Farms and discovered that it’s “even better in person.”

Megan and Aaron will exchange their vows outside in the field with their 9 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen, 6 ring bearers and two flower girls taking part. (Did I mention that Aaron comes from a large family?)

The bridesmaids will be stunning in their J. Crew dresses. Some are wearing a natural linen color and some are wearing a light chartreuse. The groomsmen will be handsome in their linen suits.

Of course, Megan will be the center of attention in her gorgeous Casablanca gown. When Megan tried on the first wedding dress, she fell in love with it, although, she didn’t want to be finished with process. However, when she went back to show friends, the bridal store had sold the dress off the rack. An internet search showed that a store in Nashville carried the dress. Road trip! When she was in Nashville, she tried the original dress and three other Casablanca dresses. With each dress, she loved different elements from each style. With Casablanca gowns, they’re able to take elements from each style and use them to design a special gown for the bride.

The look on Aaron’s face when he sees Megan come down the aisle is sure to be priceless.

Stay tuned to find out how Megan and Aaron’s rustic theme is captured for their reception.
