Vendor Spotlight: Ogle Entertainment

“The music selection can be very personalized,” Jim said. To understand the couple’s likes and dislikes, Jim asks them to complete a questionnaire which lets him know how the couple envisions their reception. Then, Jim works his magic. “A DJ can act like a wedding coordinator.” Jim explains that the DJ with the microphone and the music lets the guests know when the buffet is ready, when the couple is ready for their first dance and when it’s time to cut the cake.

“Lighting makes everything come together,” Jim said. He explained that ambience lighting can enhance the decor. Flowers and centerpieces pop in conjunction with ambience lighting.

“When you walk into the reception, it [lighting] gives it the ‘wow’ factor,” Jim said. “You get that platinum wedding feel.”
