Beverly Kerr's Joyful Joyful CD
When planning a wedding, smart and savvy brides and grooms lean on the expertise of vendors with years of experience. That’s why when East Tennessee couples are looking for music and entertainment, they call Beverly Kerr, owner of Special Notes.
“Anything that the couple wants musically, we can do it,” Beverly said. She said they can provide soloists, harpists, pianists, organists, bands, strings and bagpipes, to name a few.
Beverly, a professional pianist, started Special Notes more than 20 years ago. For 17 years, she was a choral music teacher in the Knoxville School system.
In addition to working with musicians, DJs represented by Special Notes include Ogle Entertainment, Elite Musical Entertainment, Davis Sound, Paramount DJ & Dance, Premier Mobil Entertainment and Special Request Music. The DJ will furnish the couple up to 1,200 songs and offer their expertise is selecting music that suits the tastes and personalities of the bride and groom.
Not only will Beverly help the couple with the reception entertainment, but she also can provide musicians for the engagement party, rehearsal dinner, or the ceremony. In fact, one of her bands played at the wedding reception of President George Bush’s daughter, Jenna.
