Follow the Bride: Ruthann Bindon, Part 3

For brides-to-be, finding the perfect wedding dress is the ultimate experience and this was the case for Castleton Farms Bride, Ruthann Bindon.

Ruthann’s best friend lives in Philadelphia, so the girls couldn’t resist a shopping trip to New York. To find Ruthann’s wedding gown, they went to the infamous Kleinfeld from TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress.”

“I got the first dress I tried on,” Ruthann said. While she tried on others, not one could compare to the first one she tried.

For the wedding, Ruthann said she’s going for a formal, elegant look and found the perfect bridesmaid dress in a charcoal gray for her eight bridesmaids. The eight groomsmen will be wearing traditional formalwear.

As the youngest of nine children, you can only imagine how many nieces and nephews Ruthann has. So, to select flower girls, she went with two nieces who are age appropriate for the role.

One of Ruthann’s older brother will be “giving her away,” since her father passed away. Another brother of Ruthann’s will be doing the sermon during the wedding ceremony.

Ruthann and Mark are using The Happy Envelope for their wedding invitations and are still trying to work out the wording of invitations.
