Looking for Treasure at Castleton Farms

More than 50 children from The King’s Academy visited Castleton Farms for an exciting day of fun and learning.

The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students dug for clues during a treasure hunt that incorporated the lessons they’ve learned in the classroom. Thanks to All Occasions Party Rentals, the children enjoyed bouncing in a pirate ship inflatable bounce house. Then, the kids enjoyed cotton candy complimentary of All Occasions Party Rental and cooled off with ice cream cups from Marble Slab Creamery Fountain City compliments of John and Sheila Thigpen.

Bill Waldorf of Waldorf Photographic Art captured photos of the adventure.

The weather was picture perfect for the day’s activities and students and teachers alike had a memorable field trip.

This event is just one way that Castleton Farms is reaching out to area schools and giving back to the community.

“Castleton Farms was delighted to open its property and host this community event,” said Darla Walker, Events and Facility Director at Castleton Farms.
