Lighting Up Castleton
Tru Grip and Lighting, a preferred Castleton Farms vendor, is a Knoxville business specializing in lighting and sound for local events. They have been working here this week constructing top notch lighting effects of a wedding weekend. While it may take a few days to set up for this event, they only had to begin planning about 2 months ago.
Tru Grip stays on top of the game by employing almost all LED lighting, which is also conducive recent efforts to make as little environmental impacts as possible. “Almost everything is LED; very green, low power, very low key… it also give a very true color, very rich. ” says Ken Rumgay, Tru Grip’s facilitator. He plays a key organizational role in the set-up process, insuring that all equipment is working and ready to be set.
Lighting effects can be manipulated in many ways, enhancing the over all ambience of an event. For this particular event, a rehearsal dinner in Castleton’s newly renovated carriage house, Tru Grip worked to compliment the existing shabby chic style. “We are bringing in accent lights…highlights, break up patterns up on the ceiling and through the rafters…and we’re going to gobo the entrance with Amanda and Josh’s names. ” explains John”Corky” Corcoran, owner.
Corky also described the benefits of the LED lighting in that aside from being very low power, it also provides much flexibility. The color can be changed on the spot to best compliment the atmosphere.
